Gunsmith Policies
By scheduling an appointment, you are agreeing to terms and conditions below:

If you are unable to keep your appointment, a call, text or email 8 hours in advance is appreciated. This allows Havlin’s Firearms Finishing to schedule other clients.

With current industry demand, canceling an appointment with less than an 2 hour notice prevents Havlin’s Firearms Finishing the opportunity to service others. Havlin’s completely understands the sudden emergencies of life that require cancellation of your appointment. HOWEVER, in the case of two (2) cancellations with less than 8 hour notice, Havlin’s reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of $25.  This will be due before future services are rendered.

No Shows:

A “No Show Fee” charge of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) will be charged to clients. This will be due before future services are rendered.

Please note that it has been, and will continue to be, our policy to email and confirm appointments with our clients one to two days prior to each of their appointments.

Labor is billed at $50 per man hour with a minimum of 1 half hour per firearm.  Machine work will be billed at $100 per hour, with a minimum of 1 half hour per firearm.

  • Customer can request a written estimate prior to work.  The written estimate will not be exceeded without authorization from the customer.
  • Any firearm not disposed back to the original customer after 30 days will incur a $5 per day fee.  If the firearm is not disposed to the ORIGINAL CUSTOMER after 60 days, Havlin's Firearms Finishing reserves the right to sell the firearm to a legal purchaser to recover the costs incurred by the customer.  Any portion of the costs not covered, will be the responsibility of the customer.  It is the discretion of Havlin's Firearms Finishing to set the selling price of the firearm.
  • There is a 90 day guarantee on labor from the date of completion.  If the same problem arises in the 90 day period, additional labor to that specific problem will be at no cost to the customer.  Aftermarket parts and modifications will NOT be subject to guarantee.  Guarantees DO NOT cover neglect, misuse, abuse, supernatural acts or safety modifications (i.e. trigger jobs etc.).  Any new work or operational problems will be billed accordingly.
  • Havlin's Firearms Finishing reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, at any time, at any point in the completion process.  If labor is ceased, the customer will be billed for any labor and/or parts costs incurred by Havlin's.  The firearm will be returned as is with no guarantee upon receipt of payment.
